Why does Interact say it does not support the actual game rdr3?

The message Resource interact does not support actual game (rdr3) means the loaded resource does not declare support for your server's game. rdr3 means Red Dead Redemption 2 / RedM. gta5 means GTA V / FiveM.

Murphy Interact is the RedM resource. Download it from the official Murphy Interact repository and keep the folder named murphy_interact.

Open the fxmanifest.lua belonging to the exact resource named in the error. Its game declaration should include rdr3. Check the top of the file: a cropped screenshot of the file lists does not show the game declaration.

If that file only declares gta5, install the complete Murphy Interact RedM download. Changing the game declaration alone does not convert a FiveM resource to RedM.

If it already declares rdr3, check for duplicate resource folders and confirm that your active server profile loads the folder you inspected. Restart and check the new console output. See Startup errors.

What should the resource folder be called?

Use murphy_interact. The display name interact inside the supplied manifest is normal. Keep the folder name unchanged so dependent resources can find it.

Is Murphy Interact free?

Yes. Murphy Interact is available as a free download from its official GitHub repository.

What dependency do I need?

Install a RedM-compatible packaged release of ox_lib and start it before Murphy Interact. See Installation for the download and startup order.

How do I display interactions?

Approach a configured interaction and hold E. Look toward the target when interacting with an object or character. Some interactions are configured to appear automatically when nearby.

Why are interactions missing after a restart?

Restart the resources that use Murphy Interact after restarting Interact itself. Their menus will be registered again. Keep the same order in server.cfg.

How do I change the appearance?

Choose an included style in shared/settings.lua, then restart Murphy Interact and its dependent resources. Follow Configuration and styles.
