Murphy's Interact

Troubleshooting

Interaction Problems

Restore missing menus and troubleshoot actions.

Use these checks when Murphy Interact starts successfully but an interaction is missing or does not respond.

No menu appears

Approach a configured interaction and hold E. For an object or character, look toward the target. Close any open interface and try again while your character is alive, on foot and not handcuffed.

Confirm that the resource providing this interaction has started after murphy_interact. Check the F8 console for an error. If the appearance is missing, verify the installed stream folder and your style setting.

A marker appears but the actions do not

Move closer to the target and face it directly. If several markers are nearby, approach the one you want to use. The marker can be visible before you are close enough to activate an action.

An option is missing

Available actions depend on the interaction's configuration and your current gameplay state. Check that your character meets the configured access conditions. If an expected action is still missing, report its label and the location to support.

An action does not respond

Move into range and confirm the highlighted option. Check whether other interactions still respond and whether an error appears in F8. Report the selected action and any error together so support can investigate the affected interaction.

Interactions disappeared after restarting Interact

Restart the resources that use Murphy Interact afterwards. Keep ox_lib, then murphy_interact, then the dependent resources in your startup order.

Contact support

Provide the affected location or target, the action you expected to see, your Murphy Interact version and any server or F8 error. Mention whether the problem affects one interaction or all interactions, and whether it began after an update or restart.
