Features
Player Market
Configure direct property sales or contact through Post and verify seller settlement.
Choose direct sale or contact
The player market is controlled by Config.PlayerMarket. The storefront describes two modes:
| Mode | Player workflow | Verification |
|---|---|---|
| Direct | The buyer purchases at the property's door and ownership transfers. | Correct debit, seller payment and change of ownership/access. |
| Contact | An interested buyer contacts the owner through Post and the transaction is arranged in roleplay. | Correct message recipient and the agreed transfer workflow. |
Check the mode actually configured on your server. Contact mode needs a working Post integration; explicitly choose and test your intended mode instead of relying on an undocumented fallback in another release.
Listing a property
Use an eligible owner's property-management/door workflow to list it. Review the requested sale price, any description, commission and pricing limits before confirming.
The configured listing policy includes enabled, commissionRate, minPrice, maxPriceMultiplier and mode in the inspected source. Change individual properties within the existing table. A partial example replacing the whole table can remove other market settings.
Offline sellers and transfers
The store describes direct sales with payment to an offline seller on their next spawn. Test that case separately from an online sale, using controlled amounts. Check the seller's payment once and verify the old owner's access and key behavior after the transfer.
An ownership-change event is useful for keeping external systems consistent, but reading the event does not implement those systems automatically. See Developer API.
Verify the configured workflow
Test a listing, buyer offer and completed sale with controlled amounts. Check commission, ownership and an offline seller separately. The public offer screenshots elsewhere in this guide show system property sales; they do not demonstrate offline settlement.
