Murphy's Camp

Features

Commands

Camp: Command names, arguments, behavior and the checks to make before using them on your server.

Configure the command names

The guest commands are configured in murphy_camp/shared/config.lua:

shared/config.lua
Config.InviteCommand = "inviteguest"
Config.RemoveInviteCommand = "removeguest"

These are examples of command names. Use the values installed on your server, without a leading slash in the Lua strings.

Invite a nearby player

The command targets the closest player, not a typed player ID.

  1. Stand near a spawned camp to which your character has access.
  2. Have the intended guest stand next to you, closer than any other player.
  3. With the example configuration above, enter:
text
/inviteguest

The inspected command handler requires the caller to be less than 10 game units from the campfire and the closest other player to be less than 5 game units away. If those checks fail, it does not send the guest invitation request.

Remove a nearby guest

Stand near the camp with the guest next to you, then use the configured removal command:

text
/removeguest

The same nearest-player selection and proximity checks apply. This command is not an offline guest-management command.

Verify the result

Ask the guest to try the relevant camp interaction after adding or removing access. If the expected change is missing, check the command names, camp access, proximity, character loading, and the server console.

The earlier /camp invite [player_id] and /camp remove [player_id] examples did not match these configurable handlers. Adding an ID to /inviteguest does not select that player.

See Camp configuration for placement and fuel settings, and Known issues for release-specific fixes.
