Murphy's Radial Menu

Support

Common Issues

Check missing menus, white icons, controls, focus and runtime registration.

The wheel does not open

Try /radial. If the command opens a wheel, inspect Config.OpenControl, Config.OpenKey and conflicts with other resources using the same input. A numeric OpenControl selects toggle handling before the keyboard path. See Installation and Controls.

If the command also fails, check the resource name, complete prebuilt UI files and first F8 error. A missing menu or a menu with all entries hidden can produce no wheel; test the independent example menu.

An integration or garment is missing

Check that the target resource is started and its integration enabled. Check the current context and the player's state. Clothing actions depend on what the character wears; an empty integration result is not necessarily an interface failure. For the grouped clothing menu, match Radial 1.1.0 with Clothing 3.45.2+.

A custom icon is white or a white rectangle

The public CSS intentionally renders action icons as white silhouettes. Use a transparent silhouette PNG. An opaque image background becomes a white block. See Icons and Localization. The public 1.1.0 CSS establishes this rendering behavior.

A custom icon is missing

Verify ui/build/assets/icons/<name>.png, matching filename case and an icon value without an extension. If it disappeared after a rebuild, restore the corresponding source asset under ui/public/assets/icons/ and rebuild from that source.

The next interface immediately selects something

The click used to select the wheel action can reach the newly opened interface. The public guide recommends delay = 150 on that action. Test close/focus behavior with the actual target UI.

My runtime menu disappears after restarting the wheel

Runtime registrations are rebuilt from configuration on restart. Re-register through onClientResourceStart or use a static integration loaded by the manifest. See Actions and API.

Labels remain in another language

Config.Locale changes the interface's own labels. Slot text comes from configuration or integration code and must be translated there. Use the locale files belonging to the same build as the UI.

Camera or combat input is active behind the wheel

The public core disables these inputs while the wheel is open. Check for another resource re-enabling the same controls and record the conflict. Do not assume a drawing or icon problem requires changing input loops.

Report a remaining issue

Provide Radial's manifest version or public commit, target integration version, menu/slot ID, exact steps and first F8 error. State whether /radial works. Include the menu definition and integration state needed to reproduce the problem.
