Murphy's Job
Support
Common Issues
Understand Job configuration, boss-menu diagnostics and framework-specific reward issues.
Setup and expected behavior
Where is the in-game job creator?
Murphy's Job defines jobs through configuration. Support confirmed that the product does not provide an in-game job-creation menu. Start with Configuration and Job System. A boss menu is a player management interface, not the tool for defining a new job.
A boss-menu prompt is visible but nothing opens
Check the first client and server errors, the framework value, the configured job/grade and the dependencies in the downloaded resource. Seeing a prompt does not prove the server-side job lookup or menu library succeeded. Compare one unchanged supplied job with your custom job in a test setup. The reported ticket did not establish a universal code fix, so do not replace framework callbacks based on this symptom alone.
Job rewards use the wrong inventory behavior
Distinguish an ordinary item, weapon and ammunition. Check the exact configured reward and your inventory version. For VORP weapon/ammunition failures, see the 1.1.1 correction below. Verify one test reward; do not assume every third-party inventory implements the default framework's calls.
Known issues by release
Check the installed version in fxmanifest.lua before applying a release-specific fix. Back up configuration and data before updating.
VORP does not grant a configured weapon or ammunition
Release reference: 1.1.1. The 1.1.1 notes identify fixes to weapon and ammunition delivery in the VORP adapter. Check the installed resource version and the first related server error. Test a single configured reward with a test character after updating; do not replace the inventory API based on an unrelated framework example.

If the issue remains
Report the installed version, framework, first console error, reproduction steps, and expected versus actual result through support. Remove credentials and unrelated player information from attachments.
