Framework Support

Supported game frameworks

Murphy's Barber supports multiple game frameworks for Red Dead Redemption 2. Configure your preferred framework in the config.lua file.

Supported Frameworks

  • VORP
  • RSG Core
  • REDEMRP 2k23

Configuration

In the config.lua, set the framework using the Config.framework option:

Config.framework = "rsg-core" -- Options: "vorp", "REDEMRP2k23", "rsg-core"

Framework-Specific Setup

VORP

  • Ensure VORP is installed and running
  • No additional configuration required

RSG Core

  • Confirm RSG Core is properly installed
  • Default configuration should work out of the box

REDEMRP 2k23

  • Verify REDEMRP 2k23 server framework is active
  • Minimal setup needed in configuration
  1. Select your framework in config.lua
  2. Restart your server
  3. Test the barber functionality with a character

Troubleshooting

If you encounter framework-related issues:

  • Double-check framework version compatibility
  • Verify all dependencies are installed
  • Check server logs for specific error messages
