Murphy’s Platform

Connected plugins

Automatic language sync

Set one server language and let compatible Murphy plugins follow it automatically.

Platform uses the server workspace language as the shared language for its dashboard, connected services, the in-game admin menu, and compatible Murphy plugin interfaces. You do not need to choose the same locale independently in every supported plugin.

One setting controls the compatible interfaces

Open Settings > General, find Language, choose the locale used by your community, then save the settings. The dashboard switches to that server language while the workspace is open.

The murphy_platform resource receives the same value from Platform and publishes it server-wide. Compatible Murphy plugins detect that value through their Platform locale bridge and switch their NUI automatically.

  • A player joining later receives the current server language after the shared state replicates.
  • A compatible plugin restarted after murphy_platform catches up with the current language.
  • Changing the Platform setting is distributed on the next Platform language update; opening the staff menu can also refresh it immediately.
  • Language tags are normalized, including regional values such as pt-BR, zh-CN, and zh-TW.

Platform currently recognizes English, French, Arabic, Czech, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Requirements and fallback

Automatic switching requires both murphy_platform and a plugin version that includes the Platform locale bridge. A plugin without that bridge keeps its normal local configuration. The language link does not grant a plugin licence and does not install missing translations.

If one plugin stays on the wrong language:

  1. Confirm the saved server language in Settings > General.
  2. Confirm murphy_platform is running and has received the latest workspace configuration.
  3. Update the affected plugin to a bridge-compatible version.
  4. Restart that plugin after murphy_platform, then re-open its interface.
  5. Check the FXServer console for the Server language set to ... message if the problem continues.
